Pinetop Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by James Maloney with the intention of creating the rst Micro-Brewery in Northeastern Arizona. Pinetop Brewing Company opened its doors in November of 2012 and operated a Nano brewing system. At rst, Pinetop Brewing Company was just a small tap room with limited production and hours of operation. In the spring of 2013 James upgraded his brewing and signi cantly added to his production capabilities. During the winter of 2014, he upgraded again.
Pinetop Brewing Company’s Head Brewer is Tom Piazza out of Pine, AZ. Tom has won several state awards for his beers. Prior to joining PBC, Tom ran Mountain Top Brewery in Payson, AZ, and he distributed his beer across the state. Tom brings with him many years of brewing experience.
Pinetop Brewing Company brews all of its beers out of the Pinetop-Lakeside location at 7,000 feet elevation. In addition to our outstanding beers, we also serve BBQ food and Pizza.

Prescott Brewing Company opened their brewpub downtown Prescott in 1994 with just four beers on tap. Since the days of Lodgepole Light Cream Ale, Prescott Pale Ale, Ponderosa IPA and Petri ed Porter, our owner/Brewmaster John Nielsen has developed over 55 different recipes offered at the brewpub, began production at the stand-alone microbrewery plant in 2011 and is slowly being made available through outside distribution. We are classic brewers brewing classic beer styles, conforming to G.A.B.F.® guidelines, as they have changed and expanded over the years. PBC beers have 31 national and international awards under our belt now, and we’re Arizona’s Most-Awarded Brewery.
