Blake & White Accreditations
At Blake & White we have a number of accreditations that prove to our customers that we have robust quality and environmental systems in place.
We supply a number of FSC certified products meaning they are guaran- teed to be produced from sustainable sources and pulp is traceable to the original forest.
We hold PEFC chain of custody certification, one of the most recognised environmental accredita- tions globally. We stock a number of PEFC certified products - see product icons to find out which ones.
Products with a Rainforest Alliance seal have been produced with respect for the environment and the needs of farmers and rural communities.
Many of our paper products come from pulp from forests managed in accordance with latest practices developed by the WWF-coordinated New Generation Plan- tations (NGP) platform. The World Wide Fund for Nature is an international non-governmental organ- ization founded in 1961 that works in the field of wilderness preservation and the reduction of human impact on the environment.
The Eu’s official envi- ronmental label, the Ecolabel symbol shows that a product has been produced with a reduced environmental impact.
We have partnered with Twosides and support their Love Paper cam- paign which aims to pro- mote the environmental benefits of using paper.
We source products with recycled content and which can be recycled at the end of their life.
ISO 9001
This demonstrates we have a Quality Management System in place and that all our products conform to regulations and meet customer requirements.
ISO 14001
The ISO 14001 standard recognises our Environmental Management System. This means we are constantly improving our environmental impact within both our business and supply chain.
OHSAS 18001
Our OHSAS 18001 accreditation shows our commitment to providing a safe working environment for our staff. It proves our working practices conform to all required regulations.
