GENERAL INFORMATION
• Ferries can accommodate motorcycles and any size car, trailer, or recreational vehicle that can operate on the highway.
• Service is provided 365 days a year on all routes.
• Restroom facilities are at each ferry terminal and on vessels.
• Pets are permitted on the vessels and must be kept in the vehicle or leashed.

Public Transportation serving Craven, Jones, and Pamlico Counties. The system operates a fleet of 32 vehicles, including specially modified vans to accommodate the elderly and/or handicapped and a variety of other vehicles such as converted vans, mini-buses, and sedans. Routes operate Monday - Friday, 5am to 6pm.
This service is available to the general public on a space available basis for fares ranging from $1.00 to $6.75. Demand/Response service is also available to the public on a limited basis, with emphasis on the elderly and handicapped.
