First organized in 1947, the original chorus had seventy-five men
and the group toured all over the state of Utah. This all-male chorus remained an active musical group in southern Utah until the early
1970s, then disbanded. In 1997, twenty original members came together to perform at the celebration of the Centennial of Southern Utah University and the Sesquicentennial of the Pioneer Trek. The performances produced enough interest that they recruited new members and reestablished the organization. The chorus consists of members from all over the southern Utah area.
