Delaware’s Bayshore Byway
Length: 100 miles. The byway begins in the historic city of New Castle and ends just outside Lewes.
This Scenic Byway provides
the largest preserved coastal marshlands along the east coast. The course winds past a succession of uniquely Delaware landscapes. Areas of significant natural resources and wildlife habitat, historic towns, and quaint villages.

The return of winter means the return of the country’s fast horses and most talented drivers to the 5/8 mile harness racing oval at Dover Downs. Starting in November, the racing continues through mid-April, and is sure to wow crowds with lightning-fast speeds, hair-splitting photo finishes, and plenty of long shots! Check out their website
for racing calendars and betting information. Dover Downs also offers simulcast horse racing from 11am to midnight.
