       August was an exciting month for NNI! Saxenda became the first-ever blockbuster in obesity care, recording global sales of $1BN in one year! This is a huge milestone that is indicative of the hard work and commitment it takes to change how obesity is perceived and to improve the lives of patients living with this chronic disease. In 2014, the US Obesity Team was the first to launch Saxenda. From the start, the obesity sales teams were dedicated to helping an under-recognized patient population. The landscape of this market continues to change and develop everyday and NNI is leading the way. The approval of Wegovy proves that the mission to address obesity through innovation is an exciting path for both our customers and especially for patients. Although there have been obstacles and challenges, there is one common thing that unites our obesity teams: Dedication. Everyone is dedicated and committed to working together to help patients.
