The educators are ending the year with a renewed vision, as they look forward to next year. “The goal as the educator team is not just to make an impression on HCPs and grow our customer base, but to develop fans and to be viewed as trusted advisors,” states South Texas Education Manager (EM) Bob Gawlikowski.
Diabetes Educators
The Diabetes Educators are striving to end the year strong! In order to increase depth and continue to drive NNI GLP-1s, DEs have coordinated with district Diabetes Business Managers (DBMs) and pods to identify additional focus targets in the District’s Top 100.
Gawlikowski commented that the “DEs are also using EHR strategy to help offices identify high-risk patients and discussing appropriate medication changes based on ADA Guidelines. It is more important than ever that we dispel myths about DPP-4s and SGLT-2s and promote the escalation of injectable semaglutide to 1mg in preparation for next year.”
However, Bob states that the most important aspect of a successful 2022 is “the educators becoming integrated into their overlapping districts and sales teams to truly promote a One Team approach where DEs, DCSs, and EDCSs work together to impact HCPs and their patients.”
Obesity Educators
The Obesity educators are working hard to close 2021 on a positive note! They are focusing on high volume Branded Anti-Obesity Medications (BAOMs) prescribers to help understand HCP priorities, educational needs, and office processes.
“They are consistently working with their Ivan, Obesity Business Manager (OBM), and OCSs to share information and identify key offices to support the obesity strategy. They have focused on strengthening relationships with their sales counterparts to improve collaboration and impact,” states the EM.
The Obesity Educators are preparing for success in 2022! Bob shared, “Ivan and I are working to determine targets for 2022 that will allow them to broaden the obesity market while supporting the “Launch” customers once the supply improves. The Obesity Educators (OEs) are also collaborating with the RAM to identify key employers to target for obesity coverage, and they remain valued partners with the Dream Team.”
