As we prepare for our meetings, one thing is for certain: when it comes to our products and services, we have lots of great information to share with our customers. Being in this situation is very exciting and advantageous, but it also comes with a great sense of focus.
In the attached “Mastering the Close: Creating Faster Results” video, Scott Moldenhauer discusses the pitfalls of sharing too much information and not checking in to ensure we remain aligned with our customers throughout the product discussion.
Using “mini agreements” allows us to check in on important insights that we share to ensure our customer is following along. "Mini agreements" also help make the closing process more comfortable when we ask our customers to take an actionable step.
So, can check-in phrases like “is this your experience?” or “does this make sense based on what you’ve seen" make a difference in the quality of your discussions? This is a great conversation to have with your partners and your manager.
