THE LONELY LION CUB
A tiny lion cub comes to stay at the zoo and Zoe must ask Leonard, the grumpy old lion, for his help to ensure the lion cub feels truly settled into his new home.The cub is weak and needs Zoe’s help to be nursed back to full health, but he won’t eat anything at all. Luckily, Zoe has an amazing magical power – she is able to speak to animals! – and she soon finds out that Rory the lion cub is lonely because he misses his family who he lost in the savannah. It’s up to Zoe to convince grumpy Leonard
to take care of Rory and she quickly realises that the reason Leonard has been so grumpy is because he was lonely too!
