 Clothes and hairstyles
Imagine watching your favourite sport and both teams are wearing EXACTLY the same colour strips.
Go on. Imagine it!
It would be ChAoS!
The red player passes to the red player who’s tackled by the red player who then knocks the ball to the red player who goes past two red players, shoots past the red player and ScOoOoOoReS!
If it hurts your hairy little noggin-box just imagining it, think yourself lucky. Back in the days of medieval castles, what a person wore could be a matter of life and death – if they were a knight, that is.
Are you on my side or the other side?
Those guys were well into poking each other with ‘ouch-sticks’, or swords and lances as they’re also known, and the medieval period was full of knights in armour battling each other to capture castles and generally getting all fighty in fields.
If you´re planning to poke me with that lance, DEFINITELY your side!
If you lived in a castle, you might have seen your dad or older brother getting into their armour and riding off to war. But in the early days, it was hard to tell one knight from another in the thick of battle. When things get a bit tasty, one guy in a metal suit looks much like another guy in a metal suit.
