When you are out walking this month, take time to look at the trees you find. They will be in full leaf now, and will provide you with lots of cooling shade if you are walking on a hot day. Trees are very important for our environment. They are the biggest plants on the planet, and produce lots of oxygen for us to breathe. They also store carbon, make the soil rich and give life and a home to the world’s wildlife. So give a tree a hug today and say thank you! They do a lot for us.
