FABULOUS FRUITY WRAPPING PAPER
All the nature art and crafts you have made in this book make perfect presents . . . so here’s a wonderful way to wrap them!
You will need:
roll of brown or white craft paper
some firm fruit, such as apples or oranges a sharp knife (for grown-ups only!)
a cutting board
water-based paint
plates or shallow bowls
Ask a grown-up to cut your fruit in half. Apples and oranges work best, as soft fruit makes the paint too watery.
Roll out your paper on to a clean, dry surface. Pour out some different colours of paint into your plates or bowls.
Dip your fruit into the paint, cut side down. Press off
any extra paint on a bit of kitchen roll. Then stamp the fruit gently all over the paper to make a pretty pattern.
Once the paint is dry, wrap your presents. Surprise your friends and family with one of your beautiful creations – this show-stopping paper will be part of the present!
