I bake bread, pies and pastries for the meals!
I wait on people, then wash their dishes!
I entertain by singing songs and playing music!

I own the castle and am in charge of the kingdom!
We wash all the clothes
and bedding by hand, look after the babies and clean the castle!
Unlike today, it was almost all men living inside the castle during medieval times.
The King’s wife and daughters would have lived there with their servants and companions, but apart from that, the only women in the castle were female servants, nurses or perhaps laundry maids.
