Tom dashed after Digby away from the arena
and down a cobbled street, the sound of people laughing getting louder and louder, until he reached an outdoor theatre.
“Uh-oh!” said Tom, as he spotted an orange cat on stage. An actor lunged to pick Digby up, but Digby shot off.
Ancient Greeks loved going to the theatre, particularly during religious festivals. Their theatres were big outdoor with semi-circular rows of seats cut into the side of a hill. The front row of the
theatre was reserved for priests, while the second row was for the politicians. Very important people
were allowed to sit in special stone chairs.
