Flavours Food Fest makes a welcome return to Elsecar Heritage Centre on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October. Packed full of foodie fun and live entertainment, it promises to be a great day out for food lovers and families alike. Michelin award-winning chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, will be joining the Pigott Brothers from BBC2’s The Big Family Cooking Showdown and Mira Manek. All three celebrity chefs will be holding live cookery demonstrations throughout the weekend.
Barnsley Museums is made up of
five magnificent attractions. All are free to enter and each has its own unique identity.
Experience Barnsley joins the borough to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War. There will be poppy making, wartime family history sessions, a trilogy of lectures by historian Paul Reed and launch of 1918: The Great War Ends exhibition.
Throughout the autumn and into winter there are even more exhibitions, events and activities. With Christmas baking, festive performances, late night shopping and special appearances from the magical man himself, there’s lots to look forward to.
