A highlight of Yorkshire’s food calendar is Pear Day a a a a a a a a a a a a popular event in in September celebrating Cannon Hall’s annual pear harvest The event takes place in in in in in the the stunning surroundings of the the the the Walled Garden in in in in which the the the the fruit is is grown Admire the the the the 40 different varieties of historic trees within the the the garden which are up to to 200 years old Come along along between 11am and and 4pm
and and taste the the the pears which you can buy alongside a a a a a a a a a a a a selection of other tasty produce from the the the gardens gardens Families will will have a a a a a a a a a a a a great time as as the Hall and gardens gardens will will be packed with fun things to do including music art activities and children’s entertainment Free drop-in activity Cawthorne Cawthorne Open Gardens
