during the Festival for dinner & doc-chats between established industry leaders and and emerging talent A chance for mutual learning and and connection This year’s dinner will bring commissioners producers and mentors including Doc/Dinner

will be MC’d by BBC Radio 1Xtra Presenter Mim Shaikh Places at Doc/Dinner

is a a unique opportunity for new and emerging documentary filmmakers to connect with experienced Executive Producers for expert guidance and advice about a a a a a a a specific film project Coordinated by the European Documentary Network (EDN) successful applicants will be given pitch-training and paired with an an an experienced industry EP for project- specific feedback and pointers on development where to to to go to to to next and and how to to to improve the chances of securing funding and and distribution Advance application via the Doc/Fest website required Future Producer School
Now in its fifth year Future Producer School
is a a a a six-month training initiative delivered in in in in association with Bungalow Town Productions supported by Creative Skillset in in which ambitious and dedicated emerging producers receive mentoring and training from some of the the most exciting producers in in in the the documentary industry today The programme comprises of a a a a a a a three-day residential workshop with training from leading producers and experts followed by bespoke one-to-one mentoring The Future Producers then take their learning to Doc/Fest’s world-leading Marketplace and are hosted in in in a a a a a a a a a session of match-made meetings with international Decision Makers 119
