Jonathan Kini, Managing Director, TalkTalk Business
Jonathan Kini is the Managing Director of TalkTalk Business, responsible for leading and shaping the growth of one of the UK’s largest B2B providers of broadband, fibre and ethernet data services. Prior to this, Jonathan has held senior roles in Virgin Media and Vodafone across both B2C and B2B, most recently working for Drax Plc as CEO of the Customer Business. He also works as an advisor to the Bank of England.
He is also the Chair of Business in the Community’s (BITC’s) Net Zero Carbon Taskforce, working with Government, BITC and businesses of all sizes to find simple, effective and innovative ways to help companies take action and create a more sustainable future for us all.
Sarah Tulip, EY
Sarah is the Digital Director for EY across the North, she helps fast growth businesses build solutions, strategies and visions they need to take them on the next stage of their journey. She is an award-winning strategic leader with over 15 years’ experience of operations, innovation & change within Technology.She has long been a champion of women and is passionate about individuality and equality for all, especially within our digital world. Keen to find a way to proactively grow, engage, develop, and retain diverse digital skills and community in Leeds, now the North, she co-founded WILD in 2018, an organisation aimed at encouraging women and under-represented groups into digital roles, the group now has over 1300 members across the North.
Steve Turner, Director, Devolved Authorities, Connected Place Catapult
Steve is Director for Devolved Authorities at the Connected Places Catapult. As a recognised leader in innovation and sustainability he has over 25 years of experience working in both
the public and private sector. As Director at the Connected Places Catapult he works at
the interface between local government and business, using his extensive knowledge and experience to help harness technology to deliver wider economic, social and environmental objectives. Prior to joining the Connected Places Catapult he was Digital Cities Leader for Arup where he delivered Smart City strategies for some of the largest developments in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, representing £billions of investment. As Head of Future Cities
at Manchester City Council he set up Manchester’s widely admired Smart City innovation programmes, Triangulum and CityVerve securing over £50m of inward investment for the city, as well as establishing it as the UK’s first Low Carbon Economic Area.
