Junior climbing sessions

The centre’s Roktling one-house sessions
are an excellent starter climb and play club for young children aged five and six.
Children will be supervised at all times by one of the climbing instructors and will have access to ROKT’s multitude of activities. Please contact the centre for current running dates, times and availability.

Izzy wizzy let’s get busy! Sooty is back in a brand- new show with guaranteed giggles for the whole family. Direct from CITV, Sooty, Sweep and Soo head to Halifax accompanied by TV’s Richard Cadell.
Mr Slater has put Richard in charge of running the show but nothing is going to plan! Sooty’s magic tricks turn very messy and Sweep’s escapology act has him all tied up.

Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox is one of the best-loved children’s books - and now the author’s playful and wi y characters are coming to the stage.
The story of clever Mr Fox and his ingenious a empts to outwit three greedy farmers will be brought to life - together with live music and songs - at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford, from Wednesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 2. The show has been produced by Nuffield Theatre and Curve and is now on a nationwide tour. The cast includes Greg Barne as Mr Fox

Dogs Don’t Do Ballet

Biff is no ordinary dog - he doesn’t chase sticks or scratch his fleas. No, what Biff likes is moonlight and music and walking on his tiptoes. That’s becausehe doesn’t think he’s a dog, he thinks he’s a ballerina.
Dogs Don’t Do Ballet is adapted from the best-selling children’s book by Anna Kemp. Blunderbus Theatre Company bring the hilarious story of the small dog with the big personality to the stage at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, on Saturday, July 29 at 11am and 2pm. It is the only Yorkshire date on the show’s current tour.

The Yorkshire Post Motor Show and Classic Car Rally Castle Howard, North Yorkshire, June 18.
Originally starting life
as a classic car rally, the Yorkshire Post Motor Show has grown considerably over the years to feature more entertainment, becoming
a fun packed day for all the family.
Traditionally the show is always held on Father’s Day every year a racting nearly 1,000 classic and vintage cars, which owners enter into a competition, judged on the day. This year the Kangaroo Kid quad bike stunt show will headline the entertainment programme and there will be displays from car clubs and motor dealers throughout the day. www.ypmotorshow.co.uk

Travel with storyteller Oksana Tyminska on an story that unfolds, unstacks and unbalances through the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Discovering artworks by Tony Cragg, children will move, stretch and bend to imagine how he made his sculptures.
Then together, walk down the hill to visit the Hidden Forest, a special place for the very youngest visitors
to enjoy some child-led

Father’s Day Weekend
Royal Armouries, Leeds
As it’s Father’s Day weekend the Royal Armouries in Leeds will be playing host to a programme of rootin’, tootin’, sharpshootin’ Wild West activities.
Visitors are invited to mosey on down to the museum where they can get a real insight into life in the American West.
There will be a packed programme of live demonstrations, object handling sessions, museum trails and talks. Demonstrations will include mountain man knife throwing and whip cracking; there will also be drop-in drawing sessions for children inspired by the Wild West. www.royalarmouries.org
