The Open Kitchen restaurant is situated within Barnsley College and provides their catering students with the opportunity to gain real work experience for their
future careers and jobs in the hospitality industry.
The students value the experience of preparing and serving food for paying customers and are supported in their training by a professional team.
The atmosphere in the Open Kitchen is friendly and relaxed, and customers are given the special attention that makes eating there a memorable occasion. Menus are innovative and regularly changed in keeping with local and seasonal produce. The restaurant is also fully licensed.
