Welcome to the official 2018 Food Festival programme. If you’ve not already noticed, the vibrant new festival look has been created to reflect the exciting level of live entertainment that has been added, while continuing the festivals ethos to provide a fresh new line up of guest
chefs to both entertain and inspire visitors...
Nestled in the historic village of Elsecar, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of South Yorkshire, the weekend is a two-day celebration for the senses. Offering mouth-watering delights from the region’s best local suppliers, complemented by an array of street food and drink vendors and a plethora of boutique independent traders to explore, the festival is certainly a highlight in the diary for all Yorkshire foodies.
This year the entertainment schedule has been expanded and the cookery theatre is now free to access! For 2018 the Pigott Brothers and Mira Manek will be joining the festival for the full weekend, with special guest Jean-Christophe Novelli appearing on Saturday only to wow visitors.
If that wasn’t enough, there will be an eclectic selection of live bands performing throughout the festival on the new Saucepan Stage and street theatre artists will be appearing all around the site. Saturday night will end with a spectacular firework display to close the first day of the festival.

Sunday 21 October, 10am to 5pm
