Low Road and Windmill primary
schools provide a unique and innovative curriculum, working in partnership with Opera North and Class Dynamix. We value inclusion and feel passionately about providing for all children in our community, and as such invest in a highly commended SEND and Pastoral team.
Woodkirk Academy
Woodkirk Academy students continued their outstanding examination outcomes last summer. At GCSE, students achieved at least one grade better than others nationally in one third of all their qualifications.
At Sixth Form, students enjoyed progress that was significantly higher than other students nationally with an
A Level pass rate of 100%. Overall, 55% of outcomes were A* - B or equivalent.
We are a small, friendly school set in the beautiful rural village of Naburn, just outside York, but easily accessible from the A64 and A19. Judged as outstanding by both Ofsted and SIAMS, we pride ourselves on great results,
but that isn't everything here.
We offer small classes where the teachers know the children very well,
