From noon to 5pm Optima International will hold an open fun day to raise funds for Eve Merton Dreams Trust. An annual event staged by the team at Optima on their own premises has raised a massive amount of money for local charities and this year they are delighted that Eve Merton Dreams Trust charity has been chosen to bene t. With a funfair, food, drinks and more it promises to be a great occasion. On Askern Road in Toll Bar, it’s easy to get to so head on over for
a great a ernoon. You’ll
be helping make the event a great success for all the team at Optima and you will be supporting Eve Merton
Dreams Trust, as well as cancer and terminally ill patients across the Doncaster area.

At Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum, July 29 and 30,.
The biggest event on
the Trolleybus Museum calendar is back again in 2017; The Sandto Gathering and weekend trolley day takes place Saturday and Sunday July 29 and 30, from 11am Saturday until 10pm and 10am to 6pm on Sunday. As well as all the usual fantastic exhibits available on all trolley days there will be a selection of trolleybuses in operation to ride on, ve-star-rated cafe selling hot and cold refreshments and sandwiches and much more. The Museum is only open to the public on certain weekends between March and November each year with a varied programme
of themes and a ractions. Admission to the trolleybus museum is adult £8, senior £7, concession £6, under ves free, family £25.50.

Saturday July 15 from 2.30pm, thee will be a ukelele workshop with Phil Doleman. You are invited to bring along your Uke and join in the ensemble performances and pick up some tips at this fun event. Tickets £10 available at
