We spoke to their Director, Jemimah Broadhead, to get the best hints and tips for sprucing up your home.
“With such a wide range of flooring and rugs available, it’s so easy to
customise your home and showcase your own style.
“Scratch resistant, water resistant and warm under foot, luxury vinyl is great for all living areas, especially kitchens and bathrooms where you’re more likely to drop food and liquids.
“If you want to bring a more natural feel into your home, real wood is a fantastic choice as it’s hard wearing, stylish and comes in a variety of finishes. Herringbone is timeless and will make any room look fabulous.
“When it comes to carpet, it all depends on the room you’d like to update. For the bedroom, a luxurious, soft carpet is ideal and will give you great comfort underfoot. Whereas in
the hallway, a place where there’s more foot traffc, it’s best to go for a harder wearing, wool carpet to ensure durability.
“The staircase is one area in the home that often gets neglected but you can really make a statement with a patterned carpet or stair runner – go for something tartan or geometric to bring the stairs to life.
“Never underestimate the power of a good rug, which can really make the home feel cosier while adding a splash of flair. At Floor Depot, we have the largest rug showroom in the area and we also offer a bespoke design service to help you make a rug that’s unique to you that will tie the whole room together.”
