   Pear Day
Sunday 23 September 10.30am - 4pm
Join our fabulous staff, volunteers and Friends of Cannon Hall for a delightful day in the countryside and taste some of our historic pear varieties from trees over 200 years old!
There will be nature and heritage activities for all the family, opportunity to ask gardening questions and try your hand at drawing and hands-on art.
Not forgetting our plant sales - providing the chance to purchase a small piece of Cannon Hall to keep and nurture at home.
A fabulous day out for all the family!
Volunteer Work Days
Every Monday and Thursday (except Bank Holidays)
10am -3pm
Looking for an opportunity to get involved with our exciting Parks for People project, meet
new people, share your knowledge, learn new things or just get outside for a bit of fresh air? Join our gardeners and other lovely volunteers every Monday and Thursday from 10am to 3pm to help us care for the fantastic and historic gardens and grounds.
Refreshments will be provided, however please bring a packed lunch , sturdy footwear and suitable outdoor clothing .
Meet in the Walled Garden at 10am.
Can't find a day to suit you? We will soon be running a Weekend Work Day once a month - just register your interest and we will let you know when they will start!
