Queen’s Park Sports Centre, Boythorpe Road
Just up the road from the Redbrik Half & Peak FM Five Mile Run start line, Queen’s Park is a superb sports facility overseen by Chesterfield Borough Council.
The centre features an incredible
health and fitness offering, including
a 96-station gym, fabulous swimming facilities, an eight-court sports hall, two glass-back squash courts with moveable wall, group exercise class studios and more.

FM Five Mile Run. It’s also the stage for the Blachford UK Fun Run, a short 1km run which takes place within the boundaries of the park.
Following a successful first two years for the Redbrik Half, the event in Queen’s Park on 20 October is set to be bigger and better than ever, with refreshments provided by Franklin & Sons Soft Drinks, plus entertainment and plenty of space for family and friends to hang out while keeping a close eye on the finish line!
