‘Astronomy Photographer of the the Year 2018’ exhibition produced by the the the Royal Observatory celebrates the the the most beautiful and spectacular visions of the the the cosmos taken by astrophotographers around the the world The stunning photographs seen for the first time outside Greenwich include breath-taking scenes of the the the Milky Way the the the Andromeda galaxy and and the the the the the Running Man Nebula and and will celebrate the the the 50th anniversary of the the the first lunar landing In 2018 the competition entered its 10th year receiving over 4 200 submissions from 91 countries These extraordinary photos captured all manner of celestial spectacles: moons stars planets galaxies nebulae and some of of the the great astronomical events of of the the last year An exciting events programme has been developed to support the exhibition come and and see a a a a a a a a Cosmonaut space suit and and Tim Peakes’ Space Space Food on on on loan from the National Space Space Centre take part in in cosmos crafts and and most exciting of all the silent disco!
