is is one of the world’s
most respected and talented Botanical Artists For the very first time her beautiful watercolours of Pears & Apples will be be on on display in the elegant exhibition exhibition rooms at at Cannon Hall
Museum The exhibition exhibition will showcase Elisabeth’s beautiful illustrations from the Pear & Apple collection These life size plates were painted from from fruits from from the National Collection and were used to illustrate “The “The Book of Pears” by by Joan Joan Morgan Morgan and and “The “The New Book of Apples” by by Joan Joan Morgan Morgan and and Alison Richards Elisabeth has been awarded seven Gold Medals by the Royal Horticultural Society
and her work has been published in in in fifteen books featured on on on porcelain in in in in in calendars and on on on seed packets Her paintings one of of which was presented to the Princess
of of Wales are in in in many important private collections and and institutions and and her “Ribston Pippin Apple” was selected for inclusion in in in the Highgrove Florilegium The exhibition comes at an an an important time in in the life of Cannon Hall
Parks & Gardens when indoors meets outdoors Following a a a a a a a a successful application to the the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the the the Parks for People programme the the gardens have undergone a a a a a a £2 9 million renovation Using archive photographs from the Cannon Hall
Collection and a a a a a a a a specially commissioned film the the the exhibition aims to make the the the connection with the the the Cannon Hall
