Led By The Spirit of God
To get to the place in your life where you can be led by the Spirit of God, you must first be able to recognize His voice. This comes from not only from prayer and reading the Word of God, but by also meditating on the Word of God, which is one of the ways to be led by His Spirit.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” –Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)
To be led by the Spirit of God in your daily life, first you must know that He wants to lead you. You must believe that He’s always wanted to lead and help His people: In fact, you were designed to be led by Him.
Before you were even born, God had a blueprint for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11 He says, For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. There is a plan for your life, and it’s a good plan. He knows what it is, and He wants to get it to you. He wants to lead you. You can hear His voice!
The Spirit of God is accessible and available - are you willing to be overcome by the Spirit that you may think, talk, act in a way that honours The Lord!
