Threatening Communications
Threatening Communications often imply a threat (actual or fictitious) with intent to carry out a seriously violent act against people or property.
Threatening Communications may include:
• Bomb threats
• Bomb warnings
• Threats of physical harm • Extortion and Coercion
• Sexual Harassment
If you receive threatening communications:
Threatening communications may be delivered via:
• telephone/voicemail • email
• fax
• letter/package
• graffiti/vandalism • in person
• Do NOT delete, discard, remove, or erase the communication.
• Attempt to save, trap, isolate, and/or capture a photo of the communication. • If a hard copy, limit handling or contact.
• Notify your supervisor/manager.
