HISTORY OF #9
At the conclusion of the 2013 season All-SCC Prep Athlete, Nick Crowle, said
to then Head Coach, Tom Shea. "I'm reserving the #9 for Franchuk next
season. No one can have it but him." Coach Shea agreed and a new
tradition was born.
Ever since 2013 the #9 has been handed down each year by the honored
player to a deserving underclassman that would play the game with the same
passion, tenacity and dedication that Nick did.
