Arjun Gupta is the Founder and Chief Believer of Telesoft Partners, a successful venture capital firm in Silicon Valley.
He came to this country as an immigrant with just $2,000 and a university scholarship.
Thirty years later, he has multiple degrees, a successful venture capital firm and part ownership of the Sacramento Kings’ NBA franchise. Happy, healthy, wealthy.

Arjun sees his life as a journey of three segments:

Arjun Gupta is living the American Dream. He’s an example of an immigrant who intuitively believes that, in the United States, you can do anything you put your mind to.
After working at Tektronix in Oregon, Morgan Stanley, and McKinsey, Arjun founded the venture capital firm, TeleSoft, in 1996. He has overseen investing in and helping build 61 tech companies, of which 37 companies have gone public or been acquired.
In 2001, he started a foundation which has helped co-fund more than 90 projects in the United States, India and Africa. This speaks to Arjun’s incredible generosity.
He exemplifies what the surveys revealed about successful entrepreneurs. When these individuals were asked what is important to them, the highest response was “intuition.” The second was “giving back to others.”
