Is there an intuitive way to even handle the pains of life?
What does one do when they are in pain emotionally? Most will repress the pain and try not deal with it. When that happens, energy flow ceases and the intuitive mind tunes out.
Arjun talks about dealing with pain, primarily emotional pain. He befriends it by having a conversation with Rafiki, an African word for friend.
He actually befriends the pain with a conversation. In that way he truly faces the pain rather than let it bubble up with anger later.
This is a very important point and process for dealing with negative emotions that can extinguish both intuition and lust for life.
Where does intuition come from?
Here I received nearly as many answers as the number of interviews conducted. Some would call it the Holy Spirit or a message from God. On the other extreme, it is simply repressed contents of the personal unconscious. And to a few, it doesn’t exist.
Arjun’s response is more aligned with my personal belief on the subject:
“There is a Universal Energy, and if we are open to that energy, you will find great wisdom there.”
Arjun posits that we are here to creatively solve problems. I agree. We are here to learn and create.
Getting out of the rut
How do you get unstuck? You’re in a rut. Your intuition is not working for you. Your life is not working as well as you would like it to. What are some ways of awakening your intuition?
Arjun argues for doing the outrageous to shake up your unconscious mind and your intuition. Take a trip to the Antarctic or raft down the Colorado river.
