Places to Shop for Essentials
Shopping for groceries, pharmaceutical needs or a bank is relatively easy, but alas, for most you have to leave Manasota Key. At least they’re all close and easy to find.
First of all, Circle K, off the traffic circle as you come onto the key, has convenience items as needed. You will also find many beach shops for sun protection, etc. in that area.
Relatively close grocery stores include Winn Dixie, Publix and Walmart. Walgreens is also in the same area.
As you come off the key and go over two bridges take a right at the stoplight onto S. McCall Rd (776). Along that road, you will pass Publix, Winn Dixie and Walmart on the right and Walgreens on the left. These stores are between 2.8 and 4.6 miles from BeachWay Bungalows.
You will also find Bank of America, BB&T, Wells Fargo, Suntrust and many other banks by going right or left onto McCall Rd (776).
