“I couldn’t cry.”
Like many 20 somethings, Spar chased the American dream – money and what it could buy until he realized that dream brought loneliness and emptiness.
He couldn’t cry. He was devoid of emotion, yet knew he had to get in touch with his feelings if he was to find joy. He asked his inner being to feel something so deeply every day that it would bring tears to his eyes. That was over 30 years ago and it’s still working today.
Then he met Johanna. “Do you always cry when you meet someone?” She asked.
Many years later, they still “join” to find direction. Their process is described later in this section.
He is the engine and she is the rudder. Both lead with intuition. They have realized that intimacy is the ultimate key to inner power.

Sensing is the function of consciousness that brings awareness to our senses. We are aware of what we are seeing, smelling, hearing, touching and tasting. Our culture tends to pay more attention to our senses than to its opposite, our intuition.
