Play with it. Start with simple, low risk questions, to build confidence in its accuracy. I find it a very useful tool.
While giving a talk on intuition, one of the attendees mentioned that he used the pendulum effectively to find things that were lost by stating “show me a direction to find ______.” Or, “is it in this room, home, etc.?”
My son and I tested the use of the pendulum to select lottery numbers as an experiment. We created a circle with 44 numbers and asked to find the winning lottery numbers. Then we compared notes and selected a set of six numbers.
At first, it was quite successful as we got 4 out of 6 two weeks running. This, as you probably know, is statistically way out of probability. However, after that testing, we were very unsuccessful in subsequent testing. I believe that was the case because we had lost belief in the outcome.
Muscle Testing or Applied Kinesiology
Applied kinesiology has been used for years to diagnose illness or choose treatment by testing muscles for strength and weakness. There is mixed evidence as to its validity.
