The routine question is asked when there is nothing pressing for an immediate answer:
“It is my intention to rest well and to awaken refreshed. If there is anything important for me to recall during my dream state, I will recall it when I awaken.”
I found, through experimentation, that it is best for me to write down whatever the question is just before going to sleep.
As I wake up, I grab my journal and write down my dreams and any answers that have come to me as I awaken or in my dreams. After that I write down my intent for the day.
This last inclusion helps me be aware of any answers I may have gotten. And also poses any questions that may need answers during the day.
Next, I do the usual routines and meditate for 15 to 30 minutes. This generally readies my mind and intentions for the day. I often use either the Chakra meditation if my mind is especially busy or Terri- Lynn’s Unifying meditation (both are in Chapter 10).
In the beginning, I loaded the diagram shown in Chapter 7, Section 1 onto my computer desktop. Since I work at the computer much of the time during my waking hours, this makes it conscious and I am
