Interestingly, the age most people lose their creativity corresponded, at the time, with their first year of schooling, age 5. I suspect that today; a similar study may move the age back a year or two.
As soon as the human mind is asked to conform, creativity, imagination and intuition tend to move towards the back of the skills learned.
When I asked those interviewed for this book whether they thought children are more intuitive, most said yes.
As an explanation as to why this is the case, the common opinion is that as people grow up, they are expected to fit into cultural norms and, for the most part, those norms don’t include intuitive leadership.
There has been a great deal written about how to support children in their use of and trust in intuition.
You will draw your own conclusions. Mine is “yes, children are far more intuitive than adults.”
