HUDSON, WI – Viking Electronics Inc. introduces the newest member of its growing VoIP family – the E-1600-ASTIPEWP and E-1600AST2IPEWP tower Phones. These ADA Compliant VoIP Assistance Tower Phones are designed to provide quick and reliable handsfree communication for SIP VoIP phone systems with PoE.
“Our VoIP Tower Phones are a cost effective solution for campuses, parks, roadside emergency locations, parking ramps, or any public gathering place.” explains Paul Martin, Vice President of Viking Electronics, Inc.
At the simple push of a button, the E-1600-
ASTIPEWP initiates a call to emergency personnel and sends a digital announcement to identify the location of the call. At the same time, the tower phone’s bright LED strobe light begins flashing to deter further activity and make it easy for Police or Security to locate the site of the call. The strobe light can also be programmed to provide a steady-on lower intensity beacon when the phone is not in use.
The E-1600-ASTIPEWP Tower Phone
dials up to 5 rollover numbers and the E-1600AST2IPEWP Two Button Tower Phone, features a second “INFO” button that will
dial up to 5 additional rollover numbers. Both Tower Phones can be programmed from any PC on the same LAN or remotely using a Static IP Address. Additionally, the E-1600-ASTIPEWP and E-1600AST2IPEWP come equipped with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) for outdoor installations or where the unit is exposed to precipitation or condensation.
