The first of my book projects has been
Geht nicht, gibt's nicht (Not possible,
isn't possible).
The book design faced the challenge of encouraging to read about the lives of families in Berlin with terminally ill children. My work included both the development of the editorial concept and the graphic design.
This project started with an idea from Christiane Edler, the founder of Berliner Herz, a hospice which cares for terminally ill children together with their families. In the project participated also the portrait photographer Edgar Höfs.
The result is a photobook with Interviews from Anne Edler-Scherpe which has been later published by the Mabuse Verlag (Germany) under the title Herzensanglegenheiten.
