Blissful
What you want to feel when you walk into your home!
What you need as a respite from the busy and often stressful daily lives that we all live.
What you need to refresh the body and soul at the end of the day.
What you need to entertain family and friends.
By Marsha Meek
Blssful Interior Design by Marsha Meek is dedicated to making homes not only beautiful and functional but a mirror for the personalities that live there. It is my job to listen—really listen, to everyone involved in each role. Clients want their wishes and desires interpreted into
reality. They have hectic lives and depend on us, as professionals, to make their dreams reality. As part of the design/build team, I strive to work tirelessly with each member of the team to ensure a seamless, Blissful experience for everyone involved.
Since childhood, I have loved everything about beautiful homes. This little obsession of mine may have caused my family some dismay because I was constantly repainting my childhood rooms and furniture (my parents didn’t appreciate my red dresser and bed at all!).
I was completely enamored with every interior and exterior of the historical, mid-century modern, and farmhouses in my small, central Texas town. So, it’s no surprise to anyone who
knows me that, as I pursued my college degree, I included classes in historical architecture, color, and design theory. For many years, I put that knowledge to use teaching semester courses in Housing and Interior Design for students wishing to
pursue a degree in the design field. Then, because all things design and gardening are my passion, I started my business approximately 15 years ago. It has been gratifying to form lasting friendships with clients and make them happy with their homes.
It has been a real joy to assist in selecting finishes for condominiums, remodels, and custom homes for both builders and homeowners. It is my constant goal to stay abreast of current building materials, including interior finishes such as lighting,
flooring, wall finishes, plumbing products, cabinetry, etc. I do this by attending industry trade shows like the International Builder Show (IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show
