Connects in a
Meaningful Way

2020 hasn’t exactly turned out how anyone expected or hoped, but the Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) intends on making the best of it by hosting virtual events and meetings. The homebuilding industry has really stepped up during the stay-at-home orders with homebuilders offering virtual tours, virtual open houses, video meetings and much more! Sharing these success stories is exactly what the council intends to focus on.
On July 7th, SMC is hosting a LIVE Webinar with guest speaker, Alyssa Wilson, vice president of lifestyle services with CCMC. Once CCMC realized that staying socially distant was the way to go, they acted swiftly with their communities and team members. Their message
was “Life is not canceled and challenged their members to get creative with their events. By not canceling events, it forced their staff to think differently. When we asked Alyssa if she thought there were benefits to hosting events virtually, her response was “100% there are benefits. Without the stress traffic delays or weather implications and using advanced technology, virtual events can be a huge positive.” Virtual events are nothing new but the real estate industry has been slow to adopt them over the past few years.
