Lawrence Dean Senior Vice President, Texas
Lawrence engages with a diverse group of consulting clients including homebuilders, land developers, lenders, and other related professionals in San Antonio, Houston, and across Texas. Prior to this role, Lawrence served as Metrostudy’s Houston Regional Director for nearly eight years. In this position, he served as the “face of the data” engaging with Zonda’s Houston area housing industry members, and helping them to make sense of what the data says and how it impacts their business. Prior to joining Metrostudy, Lawrence has held management roles in land acquisition and development for some of the Houston region’s largest builders including Ryland, KB Home, and D.R. Horton. He has over twenty years’ experience in the housing industry and is involved in ULI, West Houston Association, Greater Houston Builders Association, and HomeAid Houston on which he serves on the Board of Directors and has just joined the ladder to be President in 2024. Lawrence has had the privilege of working with and receiving mentorship from both Jack Inselmann and his brother Mike who co-founded Metrostudy.
