WELCOME TO THE PARADE OF HOMESTM
  THE PARADE OF HOMES IS
60+ Years Strong
A recent National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Housing Trends Report revealed that 16 percent of adults are planning a home purchase in the next 12 months. Among that group of prospective buyers, 42 percent are looking to build or buy new construction and 30 percent an existing home. In the first quarter of 2020, only 24 percent of buyers reported a preference for new homes, while 40 percent were looking for an existing home. These changes provide evidence that a growing number of buyers are looking specifi- cally at new home construction from the onset of their home search.
There are many cool new trends in home design and construction that you will see in each of the Parade homes. The kitchen has taken on an enhanced role where families can cook, work, study and entertain their family and friends. You will see some of the best appliances, warmed tone finishes, ample cabinets space, high quality stone accents and kitchens linked to outdoor living spaces. Homeowners are embrac- ing larger kitchen islands to use for sharing a meal, working, studying, and entertaining that also come with additional storage space. There are several new kitchen brands with a lot of clever twists to see.
Builders are getting creative with their designs and many have shared that dedicated home offices are one of the most sought-after rooms on their buyers’ wish lists today. You will find home offices and flexible living space in many of the homes along with media centers and clearly delineated spaces carved out in the kid’s rooms for e-learning.
The interiors have plenty of stunning features to include a striking linear fireplace and several dramatic ceiling and wall designs to name a few. You will also be inspired by the stunning interior decor found in each and every home.
The architecture is different on each home and you will find transitional, soft contemporary, farmhouse chic, organic contemporary industrial, Texas Hill Country contemporary along with elevated modern designs. Exterior finishes include metal, glass, concrete, wood, stone and more.
With people spending more time in their yards for health and safety reasons last year, the next level of playgrounds is very popular now. Outdoor kitchens are now on several homebuyers ‘must have’ list with designated dining areas on patios. Swimming pool sales are at an all time high. You will find an infinity edge pool with a swim up bar, a tropical pool, cabanas, and water falls on this year’s tour!
Home automation is increasing with new ways to control temperatures, lights, appliances, and security systems. Private exercise rooms have also gained a lot of momentum this past year with gyms and recre- ational centers closed.
Please take a moment to thank our Parade Builders for their hard work. They have been working around the clock to finish these gorgeous homes. Please don’t forget to vote for your favorite home before you leave.
Thank you for attending,
