January 8-March 6-OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Program-ONLINE-$30-Open Registration
This course provides training for entry level workers on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program is completely online. Students can log into the program at home and during school hours. **The course must be completed within 6 months of
registration.
January 27-March 2-Computer Basics-Palm Bay-$50; class meets each Monday from 5:30-7:30pm for 6 weeks.
Computer Basics will make you a friend of technology. The class will cover the following: Operating computer (turning it on, etc.), Windows vs. Apple, Logins and passwords, Privacy/Safety/Spam, File management (archiving, categorizing), Email (sending, saving, categorizing, attaching, etc.), Using social media, Basic photo skills,
like where to save, how to attach, how to open, Buying on the internet—how to be safe, Don’t get hacked!, Connecting with other devices, Saving files (external drives and clouds).
January 28-March 3-Spanish 1A-Palm Bay-$50; class meets each Tuesday from 5:30- 7:30pm for 6 weeks.
Through these practical, interactive, and fun classes, you will learn to speak and read Spanish. This will allow you to be competitive in the labor market and also allow you to participate in an amazing cultural experience. beneficial for anyone looking to expand their careers or simply enrich their personal lives to interact with a growing demographic. January 28-March 3-Microsoft Excel-Palm Bay-$50; class meets each Tuesday from 5:30-7:30pm for 6 weeks.
The Microsoft Office Excel beginning course is an introduction to Excel and more. The class will equip students to become proficient and increase their skills in Microsoft Office Excel for the workplace and personal use. Students may choose to prepare to earn their Microsoft Office Specialist certification by passing the MOS Excel
exam after taking this course. There is an additional $75 fee to take the MOS Excel exam.
