But has technology come so far that it has made the production of these sorts of cameras mundane and useless. The main problem that phone cameras face is not the lens themselves but rather the size of their
image sensor. Due to the size and shape of the modern phone these days, there isn’t much room in there for a full frame sensor that is 35mm by 24mm. It is just not convenient and logical for phone companies to do that, so what they have done is installed sensors that are nearly three times smaller. The consequence of actions like this will be a much lower quality photo. So overall the image sensors of phones are gonna be much smaller than most cameras.
