These days you can find horror movies pretty much anywhere. Whether it’s on cable television, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and even short films on YouTube.
Happy Death Day
“Happy Death Day”, a mystery/thriller/horror film released on October 13, 2017, and directed by Christopher Landon is a story about a college student who must relive the day of her murder over and over again, in a loop that will end only when she discovers her killer’s identity. Running for about one hour and 40 minutes with a 6.5/10 rating on IMDb and having viewing options on Prime Video, YouTube Red, and Google Play it is the perfect teen horror thriller to watch with a group of friends.
The Babadook
“The Babadook”, a horror/drama released in 2014 and directed by Jennifer Kent is a story about a widowed mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband. The mother battles with her son’s fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her. Running at around one hour and 30 minutes with a 6.8/10 stars on IMDb and being shown on Netflix and Prime Video it’s a must watch thriller and drama for the Halloween season.
A Quiet Place
“A Quiet Place”, is a Sci-Fi/drama/horror film released on April 6, directed by John Krasinski. It is a story set in a post- apocalyptic world, focusing on a family that forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing. This movie runs for about one hour and 30 minutes and has a 7.7/10 rating on IMDb. It is being shown on Prime Video, YouTube Red, and Google Play.

This is a story about a young woman who finds herself on the receiving end of a terrifying curse that threatens to take her life within 7 days. Running for about one hour and 40 minutes “The Ring” can be found on Prime Video, YouTube Red, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu, and Hulu.
