Dr. Zoltán Takács:
The Venom Seeker
Dr. Zoltán Takács, scientist and
inventor, travels around the world to collect DNA and venom samples
from snakes. He explored more than 150 countries, through dense jungles, harsh deserts, and tropical coral reefs. When he returns to his lab,
he studies the venom and DNA
to find out if it could be used for a new lifesaving medicine. This work is exciting but dangerous, and Takács has been bitten more than
a handful of times. But thanks to his lifelong love of nature and adventure, a few injuries hardly get in his way.
