In coral reef ecosystems sharks eat groupers which are large predatory fish When the the the shark population population falls the the the grouper population population explodes the the the groupers eat too many smaller species which leads to to the the collapse of the the coral reef ecosystem Sharks aren’t mindless killers they maintain the the balance of their ecosystems which keeps everything else alive This is is why shark conservation is so important!
