– 5 Easy Fall Recipes for Kids

1. Smoothie Operator
Stir 1 cup pumpkin puree into vanilla yogurt. Layer with granola for a parfait.
2. Sugar-and-Spice Pumpkin Seeds
Toss pumpkin seeds in melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Bake at 300°F until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
3. Pumped-Up Pancakes
Add 1/2 C. pumpkin puree and 1/2 t. pumpkin-pie spice to pancake batter. Cook, then top with a dollop of pumpkin- avored whipped topping.
4. Pumpkin Snowballs
Combine 1 C. oatmeal, 1/2 t. pumpkin-pie spice, 3 T. pumpkin puree,
1/4 C. brown sugar and 1/4 C. raisins in a mixing bowl. Form into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
5. Puddin' Pie
Combine 1 packet instant vanilla pudding, 1/2 C. milk, 1/2 C. pumpkin puree and 1 t. pumpkin-pie spice. Pour into a premade graham cracker crust. Chill two hours.

Are you looking for a homemade play dough recipe with a twist?
This recipe has the added fall touch of pumpkin pie spice for a great autumn smell.
Instructions:
1. Combine water and food coloring in a jar and shake or mix well in a small bowl.
2. Combine baking soda, corn starch, oil, and water mixture in a medium sauce pan.
3. Cook over medium heat until it becomes really hard to stir.
4. Set aside for a few minutes and knead when cool enough to touch.
5. At this point if you would like to add the spices to add scent – then add in the spices and knead further.
Cool completely and play.
